This year wasn’t about big gestures or polished performances. It was about people. About the small, honest moments shared over a cup of tea — a nod of recognition, a curious question, a lingering conversation, a warm smile from across the table.
When we started Formosa Tea Co., we knew we wanted to share more than just flavours — we wanted to offer something that touches our heart: the way of tea, the rich tea culture, a warm gathering or the joy we still feel each time a pot is poured.
And in 2025, we had the chance to do just that — not behind a screen or in words alone, but in person, with you the tea lovers.
Neco No Thé Festival – March, St John’s Hyde Park
Our first public event — it was humbling, a bit shy but full of heart. We met people who had never tried Taiwanese tea before and others who’d travelled deep into its world. In a small church hall in Hyde Park, tea brought us together. It reminded us why we do this.
London Tea Friends’ Summer Festival – July, Lincoln’s Inn Fields
A lively day filled with conversation, laughter, and tea flowing steadily under the trees. It was a joy to be part of such a welcoming, passionate community. The energy was real — and it gave us strength to keep going, to keep showing up.
WTM London – November, ExCeL London
We were honoured to be invited by the Taiwan Tourism Administration to showcase Taiwanese tea on a global stage. From the misty high mountains to the heart of London, we poured tea and shared stories — not just of flavour, but of heritage, care and hospitality of Taiwan.
Throughout all of this, one thread remained:
Tea connects.
It creates space — for comfort, for presence, for discovery, for exchange.
Sometimes quiet. Sometimes vibrant. Always warm and meaningful.
As this year draws to a close, we want to say thank you — for each conversation, each question, each shared cup. These moments stay with us.
We’re already looking forward to the next one.
